Hey everyone! I promised you I would start making videos or “vlogs” so here is my first one! I know there’s room for improvement, so without further ado, here is the first…
The jacket you’ve seen before in this post here. It’s available from Macy’s here and in plus-size here.
I’ve heard from friends and relatives some feedback like making them shorter and more concise. Oh, and not to cut my feet off! Any other feedback? Do you have any topics that you would like me to cover? Let me know in the comments here. If you want to subscribe to my YouTube channel you can do it here because I won’t be posting all of them on the blog because we’ve covered some of the topics already.
I’m headed to Detroit today for a weekend getaway of fun and frivolity, so if you’re curious about Detroit follow me on Instagram for videos and pictures of this weekend. I’m so looking forward to it!

Nice job with video!!
Thank you Jenny!
Great video Julia!!
You’ve really explained the reasoning behind adding a scarf to your outfit!!
It’s smart because the scarf will also look great if you decide to unzip the jacket!!
Happy Friday!!

Thanks Jodie! Have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks Jodie!
Julia, what a great job with the music and the video. It was amazing to me how your scarf
softened the look of the black leather making it much more flattering to your skin tone and
beautiful hair. Well done:D
Yes Dawn! That was why I did the video. I was so surprised how it completely changed up the look of the top half. Thanks!
Hello! Great job with your first video Julia! Good running commentary & you even had music😉! Looking forward to your next tips and hope your getaway weekend turns out well-C.
Thanks Cathy! The weekend was lots of fun so I’ll share soon. I’m working on more videos this week so we’ll see how they go!
Kudos to you for being so brave to take on a video. Not sure I’m ready to do something like that and I don’t think I could handle seeing myself in action. I’m thinking the more you do them, the more at ease you’ll be. Keep it up!
I think so too Laurie. I used to hate getting my picture taken but now after I started the blog I don’t even care. Plus, I really learned a lot just watching that first video for sound and lighting.
Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap! Bravo! I think the first one is the hardest and you got through it, so yay you 🙂
Have a great weekend away!

Gosh, yes. It’s not that hard, just trying something new that’s hard!
