Hey everyone! I haven’t done a post like this in a while because I’ve been woulding and not coulding! As with these type of posts, I want you to know about items that are available that look good on our shape, even if I’m not purchasing them myself. Usually because I have a similar item and unfortunately can’t buy everything I would like to! Think of me as your scout — out there finding cute items for our shape!
All of these are from Dress Barn and I’m wearing an XL.
Velvet or faux velvet is going to be really big this fall and winter but I love how this jacket is in a color usually associated with spring. This seems like a fresh addition to a cold weather wardrobe. This would be really dramatic paired with black. It’s also available in plus size.
And I can zip it up!
You’ve seen me wear my jean jacket a lot on this blog and really they are such a classic item that I don’t see them going out of style. If you haven’t added one yet to your wardrobe look at this one with the embroidery. It adds a little femininity and interest to the jacket. Actually online they’re showing it in dark blue stitching which I think I like better! Also available in plus size.
And here is a really beautiful green jacket that I’m thinking about going back to get. Think of how beautiful it would look with my danger pants! It’s faux suede and has some stretch to it.
I love this cut of jacket because it ends at a nice place and I think the neckline is really flattering. I have two similar jackets with the same cut that you’ve seen here and here.
It’s also available in plus size too!
Ok, well I’m glad I remembered these kind of posts because I needed a break from my camera and photographing myself! See you all on Friday!
If you purchase an item from one of these links I receive a commission with no added cost to you! Even if you just click on the link I receive a few pennies. You will be happy to know that I funnel all that money right back into this blog so thank you!

Ooh, love that pink jacket. I’ve been coveting a blushish-tan moto jacket from Nordstrom but it’s only in a straight sizes, sadface…but this sort of reminds me of that, maybe I should go take a look at it.
Thanks for sharing!

Yes, you often are wearing green so I could definitely see you in that!
I am so happy when your post comes up on gmail. You have such a fun personality plus you model cute clothes. Jackets are tough to find.

Seriously, that pink jacket is the bomb!! I have one and wear it ALL THE TIME! Really!!
And I couldn’t do these types of posts, because I’d probably buy everything. I’m like a kid in the candy store….eeek!

Yes the pink is so perfect but I already have a pink jacket that I wear a lot. It is hard to not purchase things but I do that enough already!
You HAVE TO go back and get that green jacket. It looks great. And what a beautiful color.
I know. I know. I’m torn. How many jackets does this girl need?
All of these are great jackets, but that first one… !
I guess I’d better find a Dress Barn!
Yes, I found quite a treasure trove and the stores seem to be everywhere. Good luck!
That pink jacket is gorgeous and looks fantastic on you!
Thank you Charlotte. It is a good fit if someone has the same body type as me.

I know. I’m totally thinking about going back and getting it. I don’t have much green so this would be a nice addition. Thanks for stopping by Deborah!
Hi love the green jacket. What is woulding & coulding? is it like humming & arring.
Ha ha! I don’t know. What is humming and arring? I made up woulding and coulding, so I’d say I would buy it if I could buy it. I’d love to hear your explanation.
Humming and Arring means you can’t make up your mind!!,(prob. not spelt right)I reread your post and understood what you meant.(just a senior moment)
Ha! I love that! I’ll try to remember it the next time I’m humming and arring!
