Hey everyone! Happy Monday! Are you ready for a new week? How about adding some bright color to this gray time of year to get you through the week with some pep in your step?
I got the idea to wear bright colors to counteract these gray days here in Michigan but also these short daylight hours from two bright bloggers: Jodie from J Touch of Style and Anna from Anna’s Island Style. If you want real color and pattern inspiration these two are where you need to look!
You’ve seen all of this before. The newish item is the blue sweater. It has a slight texture and is a nice length. I like sweaters this length because it gives coverage over the back side. I’m wearing size XL and right now their gray, green and black versions are on sale!
These are the Danger Pants. They are still available but not in this bright color but more classic colors. I’m wearing a size XL.
The bag is my carry on bag while traveling. I’ve had it for about 5 years and always carry my laptop in it and it shows no signs of wear and tear.
And of course finishing up with my pretty red shoes you’ve seen before. I found a cute pair of shoes last week that look similar to these since they are no longer available.
I am linking up with some other great bloggers over at Patti’s site, Not Dead Yet Style, if you’d like to meet some other bloggers.
If you like this post, or really any of the posts, feel free to share them on social media, like Pinterest or Facebook. Thanks!
Alright, that’s it for today! Have a wonderful Monday and I’ll see you tomorrow!

Thanks Jodie! I am really noticing the shorter daylight hours so I’ll use any trick to push the darkness away. In fact, this outfit made my husband smile when he saw it “so many colors” he said. Ha! It even worked on him.
Thank you so much for sharing so much on your blog! I love all the color in this outfit and would love to see it with a bright red pendant/long necklace or a skinny long red scarf in a similar color as your shoes! They are so cute!! Thank you again!
Thanks for commenting Cary Jo! I love your idea of a red scarf. I do have a beautiful silk velvet one that I should pull out and pair with these shoes. So much luxury in one outfit!
