I Would If I Could…Spring Tops For Work!

Spring Top That Fits A Wide Bust! | whenthegirlsrule.com

Hey everyone! I haven’t done one of these in a while and thought I’d visit my local JCPenney store to see what’s coming in for spring. I saw some cute dresses but because I didn’t have on my tall boots (just my favorite wool sneakers) I knew I didn’t want to try on dresses. It’s so hard to see how you’d look in a dress when you’re standing there with bare legs and rumpled socks around your ankles. Or at least it is for me!

Anyway, I found a cute top with lots of pattern variations that will be very office appropriate this spring from Liz Claiborne. It has a lighter fabric so it’s easy to layer over and all of the patterns are good to hide bra hardware and seams and undergarment dents. These will also work in the summer because of the light fabric but you still have long sleeves if the air conditioning is up to high.

All of these tops are the same cut except for the last one. I’m wearing an XL in all of them. Have a look!

This one below is slightly different in the collar and sleeve. It’s available in tall and plus size too.

I’m just wearing it with my skinny jeggings (you’ve seen before many times including here) that are being miraculously held up by the best belt ever (as explained here)!

That’s it for today and I’ll see you Friday for the 2nd blog birthday party! Oh, and happy spring!

  1. So funny, I was thinking of doing a dressing room post this week, too…but now there’s a BLIZZARD instead! I’m actually at work but will be leaving shortly. I love winter and snow but really really HATE driving in it 🙁 I get very nervous.

ANYWHO, did you buy any of these? My personal favorite on you is the navy and white floral.

    Yay, Blog Party Friday!!!

    1. The navy one was my favorite too. No, I didn’t buy any because my closet is getting tight so I have to really need it. That doesn’t stop me from window shopping though! Good luck getting through another blizzard. We’ve been spared this one here in Michigan.
