Hey everyone! So, you probably know that green was named the color of the year, specifically “greenery”. Β I find adding one or two items with the trendy color of the year really freshens up your wardrobe and pushes you to try new colors and combinations.
This sweater is one of the few green items I own. Most of my other green items are more olive-based. It caught my eye in the store about a month ago but I just passed it by since green rarely interests me. About two weeks ago, I saw it again, it still perked my interest and I gave it a try. I loved the fit, kind of like a sweatshirt, but it’s smartened up a bit because it’s made of linen. I own very little linen because it usually wrinkles easily unless you’re someone who hangs things up immediately and likes to iron (definitely not me!) but because this is a knit there were very few wrinkles.
It’s another Eileen Fisher sweater so it’s not cheap, however it’s made to last. I always consider how many times I’m going to wear an item to determine if it’s really that expensive. Like if I bought an item for $20 but only wore it once, compared to buying a $100 item and wearing it 50 times. You really have to compare cost per wear to see the real price of an item.
I’ve paired it with my cropped, flare pants and spring flatsΒ that are really cute (though size up a 1/2 size) and my newest necklace you’ve seen a couple of times already.
So, if you’re interested in giving green or linen a try I’d suggest this sweater is a great place to start! See more cute spring outfits here and here! Happy Monday!

Good point Jodie! It is a great canvas for necklaces isn’t it? Have a great week!
Love the outfit. Those sandals are adorable, and the purse and necklace tie it all together beautifully.
Thanks Nancy! I keep forgetting to wear these shoes since I usually go for the pink ones but they do pair well with the purse.
π Great outfit, suits you very well.
I especially like the the wide top, it looks really easy and comfortable.
Have a very HAPPY day π
Thank you! It is a cute cut of sweater isn’t it? And I will have a happy day — you too!
I love linen, even with the inevitable wrinkling. I can usually overlook that wrinkling cuz IT’S LINEN, it’s supposed to be wrinkly. It’s a pass to be a wrinkly. A get-out-of-pressed-jail-free card. It’s an excuse to be a little messy, and that’s so my deep-down style game π I’m just trying to swap out “messy” for “devil may care casual.” Ha. Like the richies in the Hamptons. We look just like Hamptons people in our wrinkled linen. Remember that π
Still loving that necklace. I’ve kind of lost my necklace game recently. I don’t know what’s up with that. Will need to ponder.
I should go to the Hamptons to ponder. In my wrinkled linen.

You crack me up!
Yes, ok, wrinkled linen equals richies! So, no necklaces lately…weird. You do have a canvas that could carry off an exquisite art necklace, I must say. Definitely worth pondering!
