Hey everyone! I know I’ve shown you this sweater twice before but I don’t think either time I did this sweater justice with the pictures. They were too dark or too shadowy so I wanted to do it justice! Plus, I wear it a lot so it’s bound to show up in many outfits. But, hurry, it’s on sale at 1/3 off so it will probably go quick!
They also have it available in black, off white and tan if those colors suit you more. I have it in black and gray but so far this fall I haven’t felt like wearing those colors yet. I think because we’ve had such a warm and sunny autumn I’m not ready for the winter colors yet.
This top is a perfect little sleeveless addition for the fall weather. I love the pattern and the material is very skimmy, not clingy. It’s also a very low cost ($12) way to add the mock neck trend into your wardrobe for this fall and then bring it back out in the spring with these pretty colors. They also have it in a deep green.
I’m wearing my new favorite jeans (I know I say that a lot — I’m a fickle friend!). I am loving pink this fall which is so weird since usually I associate that color with spring. But, it’s been fun wearing these jeans with deep fall colors for a fresh mix. Plus, I love the little details these pants have on the ankle. They are on sale so if you are looking for pants that fit an apple-shape I highly suggest these!
Now, I’m also sorry to be on repeat with the shoes (on sale now too!) and the bag but they are so easy to mix with any outfit! The purse makes the outfit zing with it’s color (and they have some other beautiful colors like “fog” and “midnight“)and the leopard print adds interest but I feel the brown and black kinda cancel each other out, so they end up being an almost neutral.
This photogenic building was the B&B we stayed at last weekend. So, if you’re ever in Sutton’s Bay and want a photogenic instagram photo I’d suggest here! Quote is by Elizabeth Taylor.
My husband is here until Sunday so we’re off to do some fun things like canoeing and a bike ride (and more photos!). Have a great weekend everyone!

It must be so nice to have hubby back for a bit 🙂
That floral top is UH-DORABLE! And I like the button detail on the jeans bottom.
Cute shooting location!
Hope you have fun biking/kayaking/shooting this weekend!

Thank you Bettye! It is nice to have him back though I am pestering him to take lots of outfit photos b/c I have found that so frustrating. We had fun biking today (though the sit bones hurt now!) and will be canoeing tomorrow. So nice to enjoy this weather!
I love that you are embracing the pink trend, Julia!! And how fun are these photos?
You look absolutely fabulous, and the saying on that door is quite perfect!!
XOXO

I’m especially loving how pink can be mixed with unexpected colors. Opens up a whole new world!
I love your shoes! I can’t quite tell from the Macy’s website and reviews if the shoes have a cushioned sole? Also, how’s the width?
PS- I have the same D&B handbag in my collection- mine is purple. I love a large handbag! 🙂
The width seems fine but my feet are pretty average width and they do have a cushioned sole. Glad to help!
The floral top is adorable and yes, I so like the button detail on the trousers – they look a perfect fit for you too Julia. So good to hear that hubby is still around – you must be having a lovely time. Enjoy your weekend!

Thank you Anna! We did have fun but now he’s back on a flight to North Carolina so the transition is hard. And jeans fit perfectly!
